AAU SATLAB the homepage for AAU Student Satellite Program
Its all about going to space
During the last twenty years we have constructed, build, launched and operated five cubesats with a huge succes.
As for now we are working on no six - AAUSAT6
We will launch it to a polar LEO when it is ready for launch. Hopefully in a few years from now.

In AAU SATLAB we design, construct, launch and operate cubesat ...
- because we like space
- because we want to become the best space engineers
- because the best way to learn is “just do it”
- because it fits into AAUs problem based learning for engineers
- Some links
- just because
not to forget
- 100% DIY by students
- Collaboration between students
- At different specializations
- At different semesters (spring 2025 students from second to tench semester)
- All in a mega project or PBL Extreme
and
- Students are in control of management in the project and sub project !
Our mantra
- It must be fun
- It must be serious
- We are in it together
- We(the students) do it all - no COTS subsystems in our satellite
- Our own mission
- Our own design of whole satellite and all subsystems
- Our own soldering, assembly, testing etc
- Deliver to launch
- Operate satellite
